Inn

You must find an inn and RENT there in order to exit the game and retain the equipment you have accumulated. Inns are centrally located in many cities, and you may have begun in an inn when you first entered the game. If you have any doubt as to whether a particular location serves as an inn, try RENT or OFFER.

OFFER will give you the rent value for each item you have, the total of the rent values, and the amount you may rent. You may only rent 1000 gold worth of equipment per level of experience. For example, at level 1 you may rent 1000 gold worth of equipment; at level 2, 2000. Any combination of equipment within this limit is allowed. You do NOT have to pay any gold to rent.

RENT will give you the list of equipment you have along with their rent values as offer does. In addition, it will return you to the entrance menu where you have the option of re-entering the game, returning to the main menu or exiting. When you move from one area to another, it is often a good idea to rent at the local in and re-enter the game. The inn that you rented at last, will normally be where you enter the game after logging off.

While you are playing the game, please be sure to SAVE at regular intervals. The mud autosaves frequently, however if you want to RENT for the day, you need to be below your maximum allowable rent. Type OFFER and keep getting rid of gear until you are low enough to RENT.
